So far so good, quiet and working on a 50G

I replaced a 5yr old Tetra whisper that had gotten loud, the bubbles are now the loudest thing again. Feeds the two airstones in my 50G just fine, no complaints so far. The dual outputs are nice as I dont need to manage a splitter now.

Wow. Solid and I mean absolutely solid 5 stars. The pump is extremely silent. It sits on top of my desk and is super quiet. The kit comes with everything you can possibly need to set it up. In my case, I wanted the air flow extremely low and this allows you to control the airflow as needed. I read some reviews that this was tricky but I don't understand their feedback as the pump literally comes with an extra valve for each air line that you can use to further control the airflow. I'm pleasantly surprised with this product.

I changed the review to 5 stars because The initial review was probably caused by oils in food that someone else placed in the fountain for tadpoles right after installation of the pump..
Now I do not believe that the pump has any oil in it that can harm the tadpoles or fish. I was not contacted by the seller or compensated in any way to make this update.
The device does what it says but be aware that our fountain with live fish became toxic and they started dying right after we added this aerator. Apparently it has oil in it that gets into the water and creates a thin film of oil on top of the water which is lethal to anything living in the fountain or small pond since it not only cuts off the transfer of oxygen from the air, but when they come up to get air they ingest this oil. Consider a thorough cleaning of this device before use with living things in ponds of fountains.
