Great tea maker with a flaw

This is a great tea maker with one major flaw, it's very difficult to get any unused or additional water out of the machine. it has a lip around the top that stops water from coming out even when u turn it upside down, I dont want to store it with water inside between uses and its very difficult or impossible to get the water out by hand, so I had to drill a hole in the top rear to make it possible to drain the water (see photos) I would however recommend this machine it does a great job making tea and u can adjust the brew strength.

Love this ice tea maker. Just use it for tea only no ice. Like the strength adjustment on front of unit. I usually put full strength tea in fridge and take out as needed.i use 3 family size great value teabags. Roommate took our old one back to her apt because she bought it. Had to get another unit because I got use to convenience. Pleased with purchase.
