Trampoline

pretty good trampoline for the money.........problem we are having is the mat that goes over the springs is already falling apart after a short time of owning it......if we had to do over we would go with the more expensive trampoline......

Great Customer Service... once you get hold of them

My original review was a bit of a rant about how their customer service didn't reply to multiple attempts to reach them, regarding defective pieces that compromised the safety of the product. Curiously, after writing my screed here on Amazon, I found an email address on their website and within the day, had an incredibly helpful customer service rep who attended to my question and problem.

I will say here that the customer service form (where you put your name and a description of your issue) on the manufacturer's website is a black hole -- I never got any reply from this form, despite multiple attempts. If you need something from the manufacturer, use the email on their website.

Regarding the product -- I loved the instructions, as they are written with a good sense of humor. I put the entire thing together by myself in about half a day, without much urgency. There are aspects of the construction where you will need a partner to help hold things in place while you line up supports, but otherwise, the instructions and construction are pretty straightforward.

As for the enjoyment factor -- the kiddos love it & we are now known as the 'bouncy house' by the other kids in the neighborhood. It has amazed me how much the kids play on it, in all weather. The biggest 'win' as a parent, is how much the kids now play outside, rather than nagging for screen time or sitting in the house on nice days.

The larger size was right for us, as we have two kids (8 and 10) and they have so much energy that a smaller formed tram probably wouldn't suit them -- when I see them in friends' circular tramps it reminds me of birds in a small cage. This one is big enough for games and for the kids to practice their gymnastics and martial arts moves in a safer, more forgiving environment than our floors.

If you have the space, I would definitely recommend this sized tramp. The kids love it, and so do we.
Wish I bought this years ago!

I wish I had bought a trampoline when the kids had first started to ask. I had a number of misconceptions, so I wanted to write this review to my former self:
1. "Trampolines are dangerous" Not as much as they used to be! The net on this trampoline is inside the springs and shields the jumper from the frame and springs. I would guess that most injuries are from someone falling between springs or contacting the frame or ground. I feel this is secure!
2. "My homeowner insurance will go through the roof!" I can only speak for myself, but adding the trampoline to my existing policy increased my premium by exactly ZERO. Yep! I almost fell over in disbelief. I do have a swimming pool, so I guess the risk is already accounted for due to the risk of injuries/drownings with pools.
3. "It will kill my grass" I know, it sounds petty, but I didn't want my lawn to be ruined by this toy. I was pleasantly surprised that the sun does filter through the majority of the trampoline (all except the frame area). We are also mitigating this by moving the trampoline to a new spot every time we mow. Mowing under the trampoline is a real issue. I almost thought about getting one of those mow robots. But the trampoline can be moved just fine with 2 people and only leaves a little bit of scarring on the grass (picture 2). (Bermuda grass in Phoenix during the summer after 1 week in that position)
4. "It's a fly-away hazard during storms" I bought some amazing tie downs from a company called Eurmax and they were simple to install and it hasn't budged at all during our severe Phoenix monsoons. These stakes drill into the ground with a metal spiral over 12" long. I've been losing 2" diameter branches off my trees all week due to high winds and no issues at all with the trampoline moving. I do believe that having a 6' block wall may keep the wind above the jump deck, and most of the issues I've heard were in yards that didn't have block fences.
5. "It will just fall apart in the Phoenix sun" Time will tell, and I'm no optimist about any part of this trampoline surviving the Phoenix summers, but I specifically bought Skywalker brand because their website sells EVERY piece of this trampoline for replacement. I don't plan to let a ripped net or saggy springs/jump mat languish. I'll gladly buy replacement parts as needed to ensure it's in top shape for years to come. The replacement parts are very reasonably priced - I think the net runs $50 and the mat ~$200.
Overall, I could not be more happy with this purchase. I'd give it 6 stars if I could, and should have bought it 5 years ago! If you're on the fence, I'd say buy it!
