Amazing!
Mr. Howell✓ Verified Purchase•June 26, 2023
Amazing for the price! I wanted a 'cheap' MP3 player for when I'm mowing or doing stuff on the tractor, so that I wouldn't risk breaking my expensive Cowon player....figured I'd take a chance on this...if worse came to worse, I could always just use it for spoekn word stuff.
Well, to my surprise, this turned out to be a very good player! While it may not be audiophile-quality sound, it is quite good, especially considering the price! Much better than a dollar-store-type player; better than an iPod. Probably close to or just below a Sansa Clip. With the adjustable EQ, you can really achieve a nice sound to accommodate your tastes and the music you listen to. I can listen to this baby for 3.5-4 hours while on my diesel mower...and I have zero complaints. Has good volume too!
The user interface/controls are not bad. Easy to use if you can look at what you're doing...but can be tricky to do blindly. I wish it had a physical volume button, instead of having to do it through the menu via the multi-function control. Not an issue if you can look...but can lead you down a rabbit hole if you're doing it blind....but it gets easier with time.
I never actually timed it to see how long a charge lasts...but I must say that I am impressed at how infrequently it needs to be charged! -And bear in mind, that my other player has a 100 hour run time on a charge. This baby certainly beats most typical players which tend to only have an 8-12 hour run time in the real world; It easily beats my old Sansa Clip by a mile. [My experience is based on using wired headphones- Performance with Bluetooth would be substantially less]
It does have a few minor quirks and annoyances...but they are not deal-breakers, and many can be worked around. I am impressed that this puppy can handle thousands of files, and even does so well in shuffle mode!
Overall, for an "everyday" player, with good sound and good battery life...you will not find anything better than this for over double the price. I'm impressed! I really like it.
Oh, and I've had mine for about 2 years now....and have used it a lot, mostly in my shirt pocket- often on 90-something degree days, with dust and sweat and getting jostled around...and it still looks and performs just like it did the day I got it.
These even have a nice feel to them- not cheap-feeling plactic, but rather that velvety slightly rubberized 'quality' plastic feel. Amazing! I'm going to buy another one just to keep for when this one dies!

Works great overall, but bookmarking to hold your place seems to have gone kaput!!!

Edited to the review below: To hold my place in an audiobook, I select the top of the big button, go down to "Bookmarks", then select "Add Bookmark" and I hold it. A "1", "2". "3" will highlight sequentially and the player will shut off. I slide the bottom on the bottom to off also. Then I turn the player back on and it picks up from where it left off with no problem. Before when I turn it off and I could not make a bookmark, the player would always start from the beginning. This is what I describe below. End edit***
Works great overall, but bookmarking to hold you place seems to have gone kaput! I purchased it to use for audiobooks. The problem is that the bookmarking feature has not worked starting with my second audiobook. Therefore, I must press and hold a forward button to get to the place that I left off. Of course this is a problem not only because it takes a long time to advance forward, but because I don't always remember where I left off in the book. I am hoping by some miracle that the bookmarking begins to work again. If if does not, I will have no regular use for the device. I like that that I can insert my audiobooks via the micro SD card. I load the card, with my audio books, via my computer. I hook the MP3 player to a boombox. I like to listen to books while I do my housework.

MP3 for me

My personal time is walking through a large store with my phone off and my mp3 on. I select the pace I want by choosing music genre and before you know it, an hour has passed. I feel great and my shopping is done. I recommend this AGPTEK mp3 player for everyone. After charging it, I tuck it away in my Dasein zipper bag and it holds the charge for a long time and I've run it non-stop while driving across the country. I ran for two days, all day and re-charged at the motel. Quality is getting harder to find nowadays. You've just one.
Great, easy to use product.

I use this to listen to classical music recorded on my computer, transferred to this, and then played in my car. This device is easy to use, works great, and the battery charge lasts for a long time.
For my needs, good for the money

I needed a music player that could play .wav files and repeat a file without a noticeable delay. This player, although not perfect, does all that I need. It's all plastic and feels light. The fonts are clunky and the interface while playing a track can be confusing. However, I just needed a .wav player for playing backing tracks that I play guitar along with. It works for that even with the 1/4 second gap when repeating a track. MP3s work, too, but when repeating, the gap has a noticeable hiss when the mp3 decoder starts up. WAV files are uncompressed (I think) and there is no hiss. It'll do for the price. Now let's see if it lasts a while.
