Durable, waterproof, and pretty ergonomic-- very few complaints

I wanted to wait until I had put this through the wringer before writing a review. It has survived several intensive trips, so now I am ready to tell all.
I spent a lot of time shopping around for a bag. I do a lot of traveling and I do a lot of photography, but I also enjoy the ability to stuff as much stuff as possible into my bag. I looked at bags by Peak, which I loved online but didn't love them as much in person because they had a weird clip and the fabric seemed kind of weird. I also looked at Lowepro. They were ugly but functional and got good reviews. I also looked at Vanguard but I opted against them because I couldn't tell how big their bags actually were, given that there was a huge range and some of them seemed outlandishly enormous, but they all look the same in photos. Finally, I looked at a bunch of Brand X ones on Amazon. I don't mess with the "straight-from-China" products most of the time because it's nearly impossible to get warranty or support issues settled, and Amazon has taken to giving me grief when I raise questions about warranty issues. But this one got good reviews and the price was right.
Ergonomics: The bag is fairly comfortable even with a heavy load, though it doesn't have the featherlight feel on your back that my Ortlieb Packman 2 does. It still has a bunch of great straps that allow you to tie down a tripod or attach whatever else you want, perhaps a jacket, sleeping bag, drone, I dunno. The straps feel quite durable. When the top is really full, it is impossible to close the strap, and I read this complaint in another review. My solution is to not pack it quite as full. You can't exactly go grocery shopping with this bag. There is an EXCELLENT feature that lets you unzip the rolltop section without unrolling it. This my Ortlieb does NOT have, and it is an amazing feature for things like a sunglasses case or a jacket that you need to quickly extract but don't want to unroll the top. The clip is pretty heavy-duty steel, and has a magnet.
Space: The camera case itself fits my 6D II with any lens on it. It does not, however, fit all of my lenses, and the divider isn't really that functional. That's fine, because it can fit what I need, and anything else I can fit in the top rolly part. Fully stocked, I can fit the camera, three lenses, a laptop, Kindle, small notebook, microphone, packable jacket, tripod, filters, batteries, and a water bottle. It *may not fit* under seats in commercial airliners when full, but only barely if it doesn't fit.
Water resistance: So far, so good-- survived a rainstorm in New Orleans and one in LA and a snowstorm in Michigan.
Complaints: The laptop sleeve *barely* fits my 2012 MacBook Pro, and it feels as though I have to squeeze it in when the rest of the bag is full. There is also a quirk with the top pack portion where when you put stuff in it, it can get smooshed down in between the compartments, so it's actually possible to lose stuff inside the bag. Plan ahead and this is far less likely to happen. The sort of tote strappies on the top velcro together and they're very nice, but I am unconvinced they will hold up terribly well over time. We will see!

Very cool bag

I really am enjoying the bag the build quality and utility as well. It is a good looking design, protective and perfect for a day pack able to fit a minimal production set up and very very comfortable to wear with a ton of padding. I have been using it on shoots and it is a winner!
Nice looking camera bag!

This bag comes in two versions: 1) Rear and side camera access w/non-removable camera cube (red flaps inside) and 2) Side access only w/removeable camera cube. I purchased the first version. This bag easily holds my Sony A7r3 mirrorless with my Sigma 100-400 w/tripod collar attached and four additional lenses plus accessories. Accessing this combination from the side access panel is easy due to the shape of the side access panel. Plenty of room for the previously mentioned combination and additional lenses/camera body. Looks like a full size dslr camera body would fit as well. There is a laptop sleeve that my 13" HP X360 laptop fits loosely in. I don't have a 14 or 15" laptop to check for fit. Thick laptops may not fit. Backpack straps are adjustable and comfortable. Backpack straps attach to the rear access panel instead of the bag itself. Seems ok if you don't exceed the 15-20 pounds this back is designed to carry (it is a 23L expandable bag). One complaint is the zippers could be smoother and the side pocket barely expands enough to hold a small 500ml water bottle or tripod. I think they designed the pocket to stay flush against the bag when not used to keep the side of the bag smooth and nice looking. The red flaps and grey storage pouch inside the bag are semi-stiff plastic mesh instead of soft fabric and appear to have nylon zippers. If you don't hold the zippers on the large red flap together when zipping them together the zippers can get stuck. Maybe the zipper issues will improve over time. You can remove the camera cube dividers, open the inner section divider and use the bag in backback only configuration. There is no metal frame in the bag. The camera cube dividers provide the support for the bag. I have not had the opportunity to test the durability or water-resistance of this bag. However, the bag construction seems to be durable and water-resistance. A rain cover is included. I have only used the rolltop section for camera accessories, snacks, shirt, pants, and a small jacket as I purchased this bag for day trips. Be aware that if you fill the rolltop section the carry handles will not reach to the top of the bag. I think this may be common for rolltop bags. Another complaint is if you have the carry handles connected together you cannot unzip the rear access panel without the handles getting in the way. The rolltop section and the bottom of the bag does not have the smooth, rubberized surface the rest of the bag has. The rolltop and the bottom of the bag appear to be a thick water resistant nylon. Overall, a great, nice looking bag with a price under $100 (less used). This bag doesn't scream camera-bag and has PLENTY of camera gear space. I would recommend this camera bag especially for day trips with lighter camera loads. If you are going on multi-day trips and need to carry more gear, a larger backpack designed with more carry capacity and straps attached to the bag (not the zippered back panel) would be recommended. Bag should not be a problem for airline travel.
Fantastic camera bag...

Great material; quality construction. Haven't had to test it's waterproofing yet, so can't review that aspect.
Thick padded shoulder straps make it very comfortable; however, if you have any of those camera bracket things that clip on the backpack shoulder straps, you might have an issue there because of them being pretty wide and padded.
Side pocket is perfect for holding a folded tripod (as it's intended to do).
The zippered side pocket to access the camera is very nice and convenient--even tho it's intended for right-handers, and I'm left-handed.
Only real issue I have is there's no quick access to the other lenses you store in the case. You have to take off the pack entirely, unzip the entire thing to open it up, THEN you can get to your other lenses.

Very versatile bag

I have had many bags, some returned, some kept for more gear. I tend not to write until I have something long enough to truly rate it. For me, this bag does almost everything I want and is very utilitarian. As for all the zippers, I added zipper pulls which makes access far easier and visible. At first, I was not a fan of the top rollable clip pocket as it wasn't esthetically pleasing but after my trip to Europe this summer, damn was it useful for extra storage as well as ease of access for my 70-200mm lens. Build quality is very good and internal compartments are easy to configure. Weight distribution is good and the straps are padded for all day carry. Highly recommend this bag.
