The straps are cushioned and comfortable, there are two outside pockets for water bottles, a hidden pocket that I use for easy wallet access for my ID, a laptop pocket inside that I honestly don't use for my laptop but love,"¦. The backpack is partially water resistant, and very durable (I've had it for 2+ years now), and it's perfect for my needs. I use it for school, beach trips, and anything else I need an organized bag for.

Debated on getting the name brand backpack, but this one worked out great for us. The purple one is a really cute colour, but we ended up sticking with the black one. I like all of the zippers and pockets to keep things organized. We took it on a budget airline as a carry on & also used it as a day bag during travel. My husband runs hot so he did get pretty sweaty with this, but overall a good bag to have and we'll continue using it.

My daughter wanted this for school and she carries a lot of stuff including her laptop. It is wide enough for binders etc just not as deep as some. It seems to be well-made.
