I've had this thing since May 2023 and it is now March 2024. I am happy to report I have not had a single clog in my shower drain since I started using this, even though I previously had to snake my drain every few months or so to collect nasty hair buildup. This is very easy to clean and if you do so regularly it won't slow down water draining too much while in use. It also stays in place remarkably well. I'm genuinely very impressed with this product, it's great

This hair catcher really works. It traps hair very well.
The only negative is removing the accumulated hair is a little difficult.

I am very happy with this purchase. Some people mentioned that the water doesn't drain as quickly but I don't see that happening with the way my tub/shower is set up. There may be a slower drain but water is pooling around it. It's caught quite a bit of hair & it's very easy to clean as well.

First of all, the material is very high quality and sturdy.
I bought this for a tub in my new apt. and it fits perfectly over the toe-step drain stopper. I have been trying it out in an old tub without a drain stopper and it fits over that drain also.
It does slow down the water flow IF you use conditioner all over your hair and then rinse it out, but I have used several different kinds of hair catchers in bathtub drains and that happened with all of them. I'm still trying to resolve that issue...
This Lekeye hair catcher definitely catches my hair at the bottom (where the silicone piece is attached to the metal base) and doesn't slide around. You do need to rinse it off regularly to avoid build-up of soap, shampoo, etc. on the hair catcher, but again, I had to do this with all the other hair catchers I've used in the past. Recommended!

This works well, has a sturdy build quality, and is nice to look at. I did expect the silicone ring to stick to the tub using suction, but it doesn't and is probably better without it. This is heavy enough that it doesn't slip around, unless you accidentally bump it. A good value.
