I'm very impressed with this product. My 2016 Honda Pilot plastic trim looked terrible. It was so faded from the sun that it was basically white. I applied this product and the difference was astounding. It's not very hard to work with either. My trim is set far enough away from the painted surfaces that I didn't even have to tape it off. Make 100% sure your car is dry before starting and make 100% sure you mask off anything you don't want this getting on. Great addition to any detailing kit. This one box was enough to perform two applications on my pilot.

Let me first off start by saying I had 100% intended on taking before pictures.. literally as I walked out to apply the Cerakote I told myself "need before pictures". But time I arrived to the truck, it was too late. I stink. Anywho, I applied the after-pic here. The door handles and rear black plastic trim on the bumper were coated in one sitting, with one wipe. I probably "could" have used an additional wipe on the rear bumper trim, but this was all I had planned on doing for the day so didn't want to waste an additional wipe.
So - I cleaned the surfaces with Dawn dish soap to remove ANY contaminants and also any wax that may have found its way onto the surface. I let the surface dry completely. I opened a wipe, and with the supplied glove applied the product. It goes on VERY easily and smoothly - it doesn't take any effort like a wax would. It stinks. Bad. Like pure ammonia. But it's fine. It's the name of the game sometimes. I first wiped the wipe over the surface, making sure it went into all of the crevices of the door handle, and then some areas needed a slight buff to get the product in.
I let it sit for an hour.
Returned and took the picture supplied. It literally looks better than when it rolled off the dealership lot. Prior, the black plastics were that yucky gray you'd see on trim, it just happens over time. But this stuff brings back the most deepest, lustrous black imaginable. After dry, it doesn't smear, you can't "scratch" it with your fingernail.. it's a real finish that soaks into the plastic.
I have a lot more trim to do but wanted to start there as a test. IF anything happens with this product of the final-product after applied, I'll come back here and update. But to be honest, I don't think thats going to happen. This stuff is solid and really makes your car feel new again.

I just follow the instruction or video of using it. I also do additional step of using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol with MicroFiber Cloth to remove any contamination. Ease of use is GREAT you only need to apply ONCE & there is NO need wipe it OFF.

Wild looking good it still has an dull black to it. Need to improve/more shine. Most exterior trim protectant has high-gloss shine to it but only last an few weeks

The package should have Zip-Lock Seal like Glad Sandwich Zip-Lock.
When DONE I have alot waste product. BETTER just replace with 1/2 ounce of Bottle & an applicator pad . you just throw applicator pad but keep the bottle.
combine all 4 product (Glass, Trim, Paint Sealant & Headlight) into 1 product. I have to buy 3/4 products = $60/tax. The 4in1 product cost = S20/tax estimate

This product looks very good after application. I used 5 packets for my RAV4 which has a fair amount of trim plastic. I have 5 left for a second application depending on the longevity of the product.
On the subject of longevity is where my one-star deduction lies. In the product description above they mention 200 washes and 2-year guarantee many times. Even on the box at the top of the back in gold lettering they say "200 washes or more - Guaranteed*" with an asterisk. I looked all over the box for the asterisk detailing the guarantee and I couldn't find the detail anywhere on the box or on the enclosed instruction card. I trucked over the company website to look up their guarantee detail but couldn't find anything.
So far I like this product and I do hope it lasts a long time. But I do feel they are a bit disingenuous with their marketing and guarantee claims.

I wanted to bring a little life back into my 2015 Sienna by restoring the look of some of the black trim. I had to apply 2 coats to the larger pieces (step area on rear bumper and cowl panel under the windshield) because they just drank up the first coat. After 2 coats on these areas they look so much better. The bumper step looks new and the windshield cowl panel went from a faded light grey to a nearly black dark grey.
This is a tiny fraction of the cost of replacing these parts. Whether it adds any durability or longevity, at the very least I'm happy to have my car look a little nicer than it did for so little money.
