The interior of my car is black, so I really needed something to help keep the steering wheel from getting so hot. I also wanted something that looked nice and was sturdy. This fits the bill. The color is exactly as it looks on screen, and now I don't have to try to steer with the tips of my pinky fingers in the summer. So much better! It was a little challenging to get on, but not prohibitively so. And that just means that it will stay on! I couldn't get it quite exactly straight, but no big deal. One thing I was surprised by is the sound it makes when my hands slide over it. Kind of a loud whisper. Definitely louder than the steering wheel without it. If you have sensory issues, maybe consider something else.

Please be aware of the size of your steering wheel. I bought this for my Jeep Cherokee and it was too small. This of course was my fault. I'm writing this review to make sure you are aware of the sizes. Amazon provides a place to put in the type of vehicle you have and will show you the covers available. Please use that option before you order or at least make sure you measure your steering wheel.

Once you get it on it's terrific. After unpackaging, we left it out in our very hot, Southwest garage to unlink and expand a little. Following the install directions, my husband still had to slip a screw driver in between it and steering wheel to finally get the last bit to slip entirely on. However, the great thing about the tightness of it is that it does not move around. That is important to us, as a cover that comes on and off easily, is not something I want to trust in an emergency when I need the steering wheel to respond quickly and safely.
