It works, but there was a problem that required attention

This is a good product and I'd recommend it. That said, it did NOT just work straight out of the box with a brand new Samsung SSD. The clone process stopped with an error that the EFI partition was full and Linux could not copy the boot files. It relies on Linux to run the app when you are cloning a Windows drive. A new out of the box doesn't have any partitions so the error message was wrong but at least led me to try creating that then retrying the app. It then worked and was a smooth process. Cable is good combining power and data unlike the older similar devices I've owned.
Works like a champ. So easy to use. A really great product.

If you run out of room on your drive, go buy a bigger drive, and use this product to transfer (clone) your system to the new, bigger drive. So simple and easy. Just a great product.

This worked flawlessly! Took a while, but made a perfect copy of my hard drive into a new SSD. Just swapped them out and it booted like normal, just a lot faster.

I downloaded the Echo SW directly to my laptop since it didn't have a CD drive. The supplied cable plugged right into my new SSD. I had to try a couple USB ports to get the one right one. After that I used the Disk Management tool to initialize it so the Echo SW saw it. My computer had some sort of cache the Echo complained about. A few internet searches helped take care of that problem. I needed to dynamically resize to a smaller SSD and the first step took a long time to complete. I let it run overnight. When I restarted, I got errors related to boot access and security protocols. I needed to get to the BIOS and disable secure boot settings. It booted up to a green screen with the Echo SW displayed and ready to clone. An hour later, I cracked the case, swapped drives and booted right up on my cloned SDD. Mission accomplished. I'll do laptop number two, tomorrow.

I believe this to work like a champ simple to use. Had an issue with license on a high end accounting program that I feel would have been an easy fix with reinstall. Played with this late at night in my business and didn't want to be down the next day so put the HDD back in and was up and running for business. I will re-install again and re-install the program with lic. (Info held on server anyway) other than that everything swapped over and couldn't have been easier to use. Reading other reviews I was very hesitant. I feel those that didn't get it to work either had other underlying issues, bought an SSD that was smaller than that of the HDD, or couldn't stop licking windows long enough to read those pesky instructions (one or two lines not a book) and were just click happy. This product honestly couldn't be easier to use. I had read online about the "free" programs to download bla bla bla. Simple rules on life. Quality isn't free and free isn't quality. If you are skeptical and have any computer sense at all buy it. It is the program it claims to be. I don't often review products but felt others like myself might benefit. Today's internet you could send someone a pound of Gold and someone would complain it was too heavy, didn't come gift wrapped, that had to get their lazy tail up to answer the door for the mail man. Etc !!!! Enjoy....
