This is a very useful product because it allows me to use the existing wires in the wall to install a new sensor. Screws hold firmly and are well slotted for good grip.

They have 2.5 ohms when closed. One had 8 ohms (defective - not worth returning) Still 4 sensors for the price is good. Very happy with the purchase otherwise.

I'll start off by saying that one of the sensors was defective and constantly showed closed even when the window was open.
I started getting false alarms from one of the zones in my home which have 3 of these recessed sensors. They were 16 years old and I was worried about disturbing the wiring, but replacement was very easy. The old ones look similar to these. Once replaced everything checked out, and best of all no more false alarms!

As advertised. On time. The magnets are not very strong. If there is any steel near your installation it will shunt the magnet. I had to use neodymium bar magnets, mounted with caulking.
