Okay, so I have a MESSY drinker! I was constantly stepping in water puddles he left after drinking. I still don't understand how such a little dog could create such a large mess. This fully stopped the problem! Now I may have a tiny dribble but not anywhere near the mess he was creating. It is a bit tricky figuring out when the water level is super low, but he's vocal and tells me about it. Absolutely worth the price!!

I got tired of cleaning pumps on the fountain type water bowls and my athletic cats would find ways to tip them over.
I like the flared edge to the bowl. So far it's proved to be spill proof.
My cats are persistent and athletic. They have figured out a way to get the snap in place rim off the bowl. Without the rim the bowl still functions just fine. But without it I worry they'll figure out how to get the plate with the paw stamp completely out of the bowl lol.
The thing I most dislike is that there is never water floating above the paw opening to the water. There is water touching the paw so they still have access to water. I think I'm manufacturer/sellers description says something like the animal will have to get used to touching the plate to access the water. I didn't initially think about it but - yuck lol.
I might consider looking for something else.
