I had my Uniden r7 display start to grey out after 2 years and it was insured. I decided to take a chance on a Cobra DP 360 with directional arrows. The R7 is a great radar detector but this one is just as good overall and a better deal at $255 for acceptable condition. What is acceptable condition? For me it was new in original packaging with some small scratchs on the back that was not noticeable. What a great deal. After an 8 hr coastal trip this radar detector (RD) is by far the quietest RD that I have owned. It "pointed" out 3 cops on curvy roads that were way ahead of me. Maybe not the 5 miles ahead like the R7 but it was long enough that a lot of cars passed me and I easily missed out on getting a ticket. I love how small the Cobra is compared to the R7. I've owned a lot of high end RDs and this in my opinion is the best I have had. It is quiet for false alerts and the iradar is awesome for "speed trap" alerts. I had zero problems with Bluetooth and loved being able to change settings on my phone before in started any trips. COBRA is definitely back with this RD.
Great Detector!!! Great settings

The only negative is the suction cup for windshield does not work well!
I was driving one day after 3 months..::my detector fell off the windshield and broke the
Connector and had to buy another.
Don't want to buy one every 3 months!

If you want a detector with outstanding range and sensitivity, superb filtering of false signals, and the additional situational awareness provided directional arrows plus shared updates and alerts from other Cobra and Escort radar detector owners connected to iRadar and Escort Live, this is a fantastic deal. I came to my Dual Pro 360 from being a long time Valentine 1 user. I wanted a bit of a tech upgrade. This unit has something of a greatest hits of the Cedar Electronics family. It's based off the Beltronics version of Escort's Max 360. As such, it has the classic Beltronics alert tones that are very attention getting. I've had some incredible long range Ka detections on this unit. Definitely further than my V1. And as I never got a ticket using it, I should be OK. And using iRadar is just the icing on the cake. It makes programming the detector so much easier. And running iRadar while driving is just one more added layer of security, especially when combined with Waze. It's the ultimate combo with the detector. You get live alerts through iRadar from rolling radar you may not get through Waze. K falses are incredibly minimal. But there are enough to let you know that the detector IS seeing K, not just simply being factory blinded to it as a strategy to avoid endless falsing. But thankfully, stationary K falses will quickly fall victim to AutoLearn. After 3 passes by them, they get automatically muted. I love it. The alternative of just reducing K sensitivity is unacceptable to me as I do still see LEOs running K band. So long story short, this is a great detector and the lowest price of any of the 360 (Max) in the Cobra/Escort/Beltronics family.
Almost half the price of Escort- same brain and performance!

I am radar detector enthusiast and used and tested a lot of Beltronics radar detectors before from 940, RX65, and GX65 still own it. I also owned Escorts 8500, 9500i and 9500ix. Also used other Cobra and Whistler detectors some time ago. Btw Escorts 9500i and 9500ix had issues with finding GPS signal in the cars with heated windshields and Beltronics never had that. This Cobra radar detector is Escort's Max360 "clone" with even better filtering and reception range In some cases. It has Beltronics sound as well. I currently use both Radenso DS1 and Cobra DP360 and test it against my old GX65. Both DP360 and DS1 are great detectors with different features like arrows on Cobra and "stealth" on Radenso. I would say Cobra is definitely more quiet in the city driving even right from the box. I like both detectors. As I have great experience using detectors While driving and I rely on sound alert pattern only as usually detector is sitting behind the RV mirror. Cobra arrows do not help me a lot lol. Do I recommend Cobra DP360 - yes.

Update after 4 months use. Just recently had a long trip with 2 Radar Detectors. So here are 3 key facts:
1) CONS: DP360 missed one signal in KA band. Police car was sitting ahead after the right turn and on opposite side of the road shooting upcoming traffic in the rear, so signal went right into my windshield (there was concrete roadblocks in the middle, but my RDs are placed in the top, so not an issue) - Missed completely, there were no even one beep! :( Now I am a bit worried that it might miss other signals. Driving in the city is super-quiet.
2) My other Radar detector Radenso DS1 caught the signal right at the second the car faced the Radar gun - Great job!
3) Was passing undercover car and they turned on radar gun in KA band when I was like 10 feet away, both detectors went off almost at the same time. Radenso DS1 was like 0.5-1 second faster to alert than Cobra DP360. It was cool to see that arrow changed from front to rear as soon as I passed that car slowly. Usually I don't use arrows at all.
CON: DP360 is how it alerts against Red light cameras or speed cameras.. ( I am not big fan of browsing through setting in RDs, so maybe there is a way to adjust it, not sure) but it alerts you of any type of camera and then it keep saying Red light camera and just shows on a screen what distance is left to camera and then, when you pass it, it just keeps silent.. So these pauses between alerts: "Red light camera" pause "Red light camera" pause... and when you passed camera finally.. So you either need to look at the RD seen to be sure you passed camera or wait a little for another "Red light camera" will not go off.
PROS: Radenso DS1 works for Red light or Speed camera a bit different, it alerts you and then, when you approach closer alerts-beeps happen to be faster and when you pass camera it goes quiet. I like it better.
Cons: Radenso DS1 Many alerts to Gatso RT3 and Gatso RT4, the only way to disable it in settings.
Hope that helps.

Took it for a test run from WI-Kansas last week. It was a huge update for coverage. The app also confirms other escort members sightings. I bought it dev when it was marked down to $350 so I was a great deal. It's a bit more pricey but for what you get, it beats a potential ticket and points and insurance increases. It comes down to common sense, just because you have this, it doesn't mean it gives you a free pass to go 100mph. This will let you know in advance if they're hiding on a off ramp, having cameras in construction zones etc. I've seen people get letters in the mail for speeding based of getting caught by just a speed zone cam in construction. This will let you know in advance if there is a officer or camera operating in the zones.
