Great replacement watch band
AirForceMom✓ Verified Purchase•September 18, 2023
I really like these watch bands. I read some of the reviews and almost didn't order, but decided to based on the price. 10 different bands for less than $20!
The bands are very soft and I do love the fact the ends tuck under. The closure is pretty well constructed and I like that each one is the same color as the band.
Some differences between the actual FitBit bands. (See picture, the pink band is FitBit and the light green is this product). This band fits more like a medium, which is perfect for me. The end is rounded instead of square. The pins that actually connect the band to the watch aren't as thick, but work just fine.
I would definitely recommend these watch bands, especially at a price under $20.

Easy fix for a common problem

An excellent replacement part for something that Toyota should never have made out of plastic. Fast shipping, instructions and a link to a You tube video come in the confirmation email, Watch the video, pay attention to the orientation of the part, use a little lubrication. Read the reviews, a lot of info is in there, too. I had the passenger side done in about 15 minutes. The driver's side took considerably longer, as the pins are not solid, and I managed to spread one, thus anchoring it into the plastic of the old part. I ended up using a rotary tool to cut it out, and once out it was a snap, though I did have to still out the hole slightly to get the mangled pin in. I also had to bend the brackets back in a bit to get a solid seal on the window. My dog can now poke her nose out the back of my 2001 Tacoma extracab without my having to worry about her Squirrel! fixation.
a perfect permanent replacement Toyota access cab rear window hinge

Everyone who has an access cab Tacoma or Tundra is going to need these because the original factory plastic hinges on their will eventually become brittle and break. Read the tips that the numerous other reviewers have described and pick the method you feel most comfortable with and installation is a breeze. I had my broken plastic hinge replaced with the new metal hinge in under 15 minutes from start to finish. I found it easier to remove the screw that holds the latch bracket to the glass before attempting to remove and replace the broken plastic hinge. I used a screw thin enough to press the small metal pins holding the broken part out of the latch usong channel lock pliers. No hammer or punch needed. Dont lose the pins! You must reuse them since the new hinges do not ship with new pins. They are very small and if you drop them you may never find them. Then just make certain the hook on the new part faces the same direction as the old one did then press the small metal pins back in their respective holes using the pliers. Reattach the bracket to the glass with the screw you removed earlier and you are done. Easy peasy! My new window latch works as well as the original with no high pressure car wash leakage or wind noises.
There is an easier way than drilling out the holes...

I have a 02 Taco that has had a broken latch for over 5 years, this was just what I was looking for. Better value and price than OEM. My local dealership didn't offer just this pivot piece and wanted $55 for the whole window latch. So this was a no brainer. This is exactly the same size as the original plastic piece.
I used a hammer and allen wrench that fit the pin hole and a lot of WD40 for the installation. The holes in the replacement billet pivots are a bit to small for the stock pins as many have stated but there is a very simple solution. Since I am lazy and don't want to drill out larger holes I simply took a channel lock and squeezed the pins gently so that the diameter of the pins are a bit smaller. The ends of the pins that look like saw teeth now nearly touch and that still gave enough spring resistance when installing the pins that I am confident they will not slip out. I still had to bang on the pins with a hammer and lots of WD40 to get the pins to seat properly. All in all it took 30 mins for the first one just to make sure I didn't break anything and another 15 min for the other side.

Great product! Wish I'd bought them 10 years ago!

Awesome replacement for the OEMs that broke years ago!
Having read some of the reviews, I was concerned about the fit and difficulty in replacing them without damaging the latch itself. It was no problem!
Couple of tips:
1) As suggested by another reviewer, don't take the whole door panel off. Pop the top rear corner and a couple of clips down the side and across the top. Wedge something in there, and use a box end wrench to remove the 2 bolts.
2) Since the old pivot is likely broken on the "handle" end... bust it off there. Now that you can access the middle of the pin, use a pair of small pliers to squeeze/rotate/push the pin out of that handle. This prevents having to drive the pin out, with the handle taking some of the impact.
3) When replacing the shorter of the pins (in the window end of the new pivot), clamp the new aluminum piece in a vice, and tap the new pin into place. This will prevent stress on the plastic part as you push the pin into the new latch pivot.
