I live in a cold climate. Rochester Ny. Very warm. Fits perfectly snug. Practical for work or even dressed up. I have 2 pairs of the grey and black and 1 pair of the black for church. â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â'¥ï¸â'¥ï¸â'¥ï¸â'¥ï¸â'¥ï¸â'¥ï¸â'¥ï¸â'¥ï¸

The gloves are thicker than I anticipated. It is a little challenging to get your finger tips all the way to the end to have accuracy when using the smartouch feature. Definitely keep your hands warm. I'm a woman with average hands and the medium fit perfectly.
Best Lightweight Winter Gloves I've Bought

I love these gloves enough that I've bought them 4 years in a row. Which at first brings up a question of durability, but I don't necessarily use them for their intended purpose. I'm a forklift operator, and most of my time in the past few years has been spent in a lumber yard in Texas. So, they see a lot of use that they aren't meant to handle, and a lot of wild temperature changes. But they stand the test of time and wear year in and out.
They are running gloves, as we all know. But they have kept my hands warm driving at speeds up to 15mph in the rainy and windy cold. They have a water repellent exterior and a felt interior, so they do well to keep my hands dry as well (when not in a torrential downpour). They have kept my hands warm in temperatures as low as 5°F.
On top of keeping my hands warm, they have also served as work gloves on cold days. When the weather permits, I don't wear proper work gloves. So for me, it's important that the gloves I do wear do not impead my grip or dexterity. And these don't. I'm not gonna say that they're not noticeable when working with them, because they are. But they aren't an annoyance or obstacle when you need to do something with your hands.
All that said, the advertised touch screen use isn't really an option. That's the one thing these gloves don't do for you, unfortunately. When the screen does detect your touch, it's typically not where you were trying to touch.
I'll round this off by saying that they are good gloves for people with sensory issues. I personally will refuse to wear a comfort item if it's an uncomfortable texture or fabric for me. But, thankfully, these gloves have never triggered my sensory issues. Even after many washes, and being caked in mud, chemicals, and sawdust the gloves feel do not change.
One final note, this is my 4th year buying this pair of gloves. The first year: I used them until they had holes in the sides of the pointer fingers, which was approximately 4 months of use in hard labor. The second year: I used them the same way for about 3 months before my co-worker stole them, which he proceeded using them for 2 more months before losing them. As far as I know, they never developed holes the second year. The third year: I used them as they were intended, as I wasn't working at the lumber yard or on a forklift. I used them for 4 months before another one of my coworkers stole them. To my knowledge they are still in pristine condition, and he uses them for biking (he regularly participates in bicycle races and wears them when it's chilly). And this is my fourth year purchasing them, the quality and use I have gotten out of them is well worth the price. I highly recommend them.

I bought a pair for myself and several as gifts. Mine were purchased specifically for driving on cold mornings before my vehicle cabin is completley warmed. For that purpose, they are perfect.
YES, the touch screens on both my phone and vehichle console work flawlessy with these gloves. And the slightly tacky pattern on the palms is perfect for gripping the steering wheel.
A couple of observations:
The gloves are fairly thick for my use as a driving glove. Think wearing a thinner mm neoprene diving glove. And speaking of neoprene, the gloves have that feel inside. If worn while working, the gloves would probably result in sweat formation.
As should be expected with any glove, even though touch screens do work with the glove fabric, texting is difficult due to the bulkiness of the fabric. The gloves are fine for gross motor movements such as opening an app, selecting icons, etc., but actual texting is a no go. If texting ability is a must, I would suggest gloves with flip out fingers.
All in all, these are perfect for my use!
