Keeps snails/slugs off of pet food

I purchased this specifically to be used for pets that I feed outside, the snails/slugs will not go into or touch copper, this works perfectly - the copper tape I previously purchased did nothing to keep them off of the food and water - thrilled this does work.

Mine arrive in a timely matter but have to say this bowl is extremely small a lot smaller than I was thinking! I'm only using it as a decorative piece in my copper bathroom though! So it'll do for me it's a bit darker as well but does offset itself from my copper bathroom sink.
