I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this to replace rope on a cat tree. Its very thin. Thinner than I expected. It would be great for art projects as the rope is very beautiful and had no flaws throughout. Be warned that the roll is not continuous it is made up of 3 or more lengths of rope. The ends of which are frayed.
