So this is the third bag I have bought from these guys. My last one unfortunately died to a two yr old experimenting with scissors. Otherwise it was 2.5 yrs old and going strong! I absolutely love them! This time I got the burgundy one and it is a vinyl type material with PU leather accents. Seriously these bags are put through the ringer with me. It has been so versatile! I use it as my day purse, my diaper bag for three kids under 3 (yes we know we're crazy, trust me) as my school backpack and, oddly, as a modular saddle bag for my horses. I can legitimately stuff this thing full over and over and it has held up beautiful! So many pockets makes it easy to stay organized too.

Just yesterday I fit my laptop (13"XL Dell), a 5 subject notebook, my pencil case, mouse, charger, planner, three diapers, wipes, two snack baggies, formula for two bottles, 3 small fidget toys, a hair brush and ties, my wallet and two bottles in this thing and it STILL isn't all the way full. I adore this bag! It is wonderfully made and designed. The handle is reinforced, the d rings on the sides are reinforced, the pack straps are triple stitched on, the hardware is long lasting (though it is not a zipper you can rip open, you actually have to use the pulls), it has tons of pockets, the vinyl material has been very easy to clean (so is the pu leather as Ive had two of those) and the bottle pouches on the side are stretchy enough for bigger cups but snug enough most things won't fall out if you drop your purse. Heck, I had a USB in there for 3 weeks and it never came out despite how thoughtless I am with my bags! I've literally chucked this thing out a moving car and it hardly did anything to it.

With the D rings on the sides you can buy the bar straps/clips for strollers and easily attach this to your stroller as your cup holder and diaper bag. With the smaller front zipper you can have a quick spot for your phone and when ready to go you just unclip and all your straps are ready to go! I love how it works.

It's the same for my horses. I use one of them as one of my saddle bags for my trail rides! I can secure it two ways using the handle and the d rings/pack strap rings so it's very stable and doesn't bounce around a lot while still being easy access/removable. I can pack lunch/gear in it, ride 12 miles out, highline my horses for a picnic, then just snap my bag on and ride back down the mountain! Easy peasy and super easy to clean. The vinyl is actually a bit water resistant too which is nice. Not to mention it totally matches my color theme which is so fun!

Totally recommend this bag for just about everything! I am a huge huge fan:)

I am a full time mom of three littles and a part time student. No matter what size or variation of shoulder purse I bought I was unhappy and either didn't have enough room or it hurt my shoulder or it was the wrong dimensions. I figured a smaller backpack/purse would be a better option. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BAG!! I am SUPER picky but this thing is awesome!! First, I love the look, I purchased the gray bag and its a little rugged looking by design. I love this because I'm not worried about it getting torn up with how rough I am on my purses. It's a soft leather like material so I love the way it feels and the straps are very comfortable!! Also the interior is a black fabric so it doesn't show dirt or pen marks which is awesome because I'm constantly shoving pens in my bag with school and life in general and I have scrubbed plenty a pen mark out of previous bags.
Next, the size is literally perfect! I am a planner girl, I constantly carry my classic sized happy planner, it is my life... This bag not only has plenty of room for it but also all the pens I like to carry to keep things color coded or highlighters to highlight important things. I also carry a set of folding reusable bags for those quick trips to the store on the way home, and they fit no problem. I also have a bunch of other junk in there and I still have room. Not only that but there are sooooo many pockets to keep things organized!! I am sooooo in love with how organized I am able to keep everything so that, even though I carry about as much as Mary Poppins, I can quickly reach in and grab anything I need without having to dig or look or take forever to find things. And the bag doesn't seem bulky or cumbersome from the outside!! It's AMAZING!!!
This purse is exactly what I have been looking for since I became a mother and I honstley am thinking about purchasing it in a few other colors so I have options because I'm not sure I wanna carry another purse ever again...

UPDATE: So I ended up using this bag for 2 years. I was by no means easy on it, and with 3 toddlers it adapted many times over over the last couple years. Sadly, recently old trusty has taken all the abuse she could handle and has started falling apart... So, what did I do?? You guessed it! Bought another UTO backpack in a little bit of a different style (I mean after 2 years who wouldn't want something new??). I looked at SO many others but after how hard in love I fell with this bag I just couldn't bring myself to stray. And yes, I have fallen in love all over again with my new bag.

I ordered this bag in three different brown colors. From left to right it's brown,tan, and new brown, but the "new brown" that I bought is NOT a UTO bag, even tho I ordered it from this listing. It is a similar bag by Cluchi.
I had three things I wanted in a purse bag.
1. acceptable to have at work (like it looked like a purse) I considered it a major bonus's if it also had a classic look about it as my style is all vintage classic.
2. Water bottle pocket on the outside
3. Can fit my 12 inch iPad or my 13inch laptop, as well as hold a few sketch books.
All three of these bags had the same photo to show their color, so I ordered all three to get the brown that would match my things the best. So let's talk about what I got.
I first one that came in was not a UTO bag but a Cluchi bag (which I did not know existed until I was accidentally given one instead of a UTO). There was no smell with this bag, and it was plenty big enough to hold my computer, iPad and sketchbooks. It also held water bottles really well. The fake leather has a crisp and new look about it. I had wanted a slightly more warn look, like the photos, but I did like the brown color. The thing that surprised me with this bag was the nylon backpack straps, and then I realized the brand wasn't the same.
The other two came in shortly after. Here's the differences.
The Cluchi bag is bigger. It has wiggle room for my computer. The UTO bags will hold my computer, but it only just zips over it. I have an old MacBook Pro 13 inch.
While both brands are what I expect for $30ish in quality, the Cluchi seems to be better made. It's lining fits better to the inside of the bag, and is of a nicer fabric.
Both UTO bags had a slight smell about them, while the Cluchi had none that I could detect. I have brought my Cluchi to my mom's house (she will tell me if something smells bad right away) and she thought my bag was cute, and did not complain about the smell.
I like the nylon backpack straps on the Cluchi bag better, particularly because the nylon goes from top to bottom and even lines the back of the leather upper parts of the straps. Feels more secure and it's easier to adjust the straps.
I like that the UTO bags do not have a brand name stamped to the front of the bag, while the Cluchi does.
While I like the UTO Tan bag for its color and texture the best, I will be going with the Cluchi. It feels stronger and slightly higher in its quality. I don't really expect it to last me forever, none of them are the high quality that they would need to be for that to happen. But I love it for now.

TLDR: get the Cluchi bag like this one. It's better.

Have had this now for 3 years and it doesn't have a scratch or tear in it and I use it very day for personal and work. It's been one of the best little backpacks I have had!
