Three ceramic knives and peeler for less than $30 is great, especially compared to competitors' prices. The 5" utility knife blade broke the first time I used it. I trimmed the end off of a yam and a small semi-circular piece broke off from the middle of the blade. I'm assuming it was defective as ceramic blades should be able to handle most kinds of produce with the exception of winter squash and other hard-shelled foods. A replacement set was here before I'd even dropped off the defective set. I've been using it for a week now with no problem. I've been using Kyocera ceramic knives for years, but they are expensive but a lot more resilient. . Very happy with this set even with the limitations. Don't plan to use them for anything denser than a melon.

These knives are very sharp but also very fragile what you don't know is that they are made out of a very thin material. Hence the big price difference a good set of ceramic knives are about 70.00 dollars these are 30.00 dollars the difference heavier material in the more expensive knives, be careful these knives are not for children. Use wisely

These knives look great and are extremely sharp, it's very easy to cut really anything. But you have to be delicate with them because they can snap. 1 knife has broken in the past two years of having them, so not bad!

I have used these knives long enough to know that I got a great deal. They're everything I like in a ceramic knife and the price was fantastic. They came nicely boxed. I like the cover for each knife as it clearly shows which way the knife goes in it. They are very sharp so they get the job done. I really like them!
