The heater came nicely packaged without excessive packing or taped up bags you have to rip through. Instructions were clear. Interesting tip over shutoff gives you a countdown and a chance to pick it up before it shuts off. Oscillation is smooth and quiet without any ticking at the endpoints. The display is easy to read and disappears after while so it's not annoying. The heater started up without any hint of plastic odor or production oils like some heaters do. Not too big and not too small. Remote works good and takes two AA batteries (not incl.). It's an infared type remote. This is probably the heater you want
Not a good heater for nursery

I'm returning this heater due to a few reasons. Main reason is that it has an inaccurate temperature gauge in it. I'll set it to 68 and the room is freezing. My thermostat says it's 65! I've tried several thermometers and they all say it's many degrees lower than the heater is set at. It won't turn on constantly either so my baby wakes up either too cold or too hot. I don't want to set it to the low mode because then it's too warm in her room.
The other reason I don't like this heater is the beeping and flashing temperature after you change it in the middle of the night. It's too disruptive and very distracting when you're trying to put your LO back to sleep and there's a blinking light that won't go away and lights up the room. Finally the unit clicks All the time even if it's off and that is also disruptive in a nursery, and this is after two sound machines are blaring. You still hear the clicks.
If you have a baby and need the room warm but not extreme temperatures of cold or hot please shop elsewhere, cause this heater isn't it.

This is my second time buying this heater and I would buy it as many more times and I need it.
1. I have a cat a dog and three kids under 4 in my home. If they knock it over, it shuts off. That was a must for me.
2. We live in Alaska so it gets cold! This thing on high gets my bed room 10° warmer in about 10 mins. 8ftx12ftx11ft
3. The swivel. Didn't think I loved it until I used one that didn't. It helps circulate the heat which is why I think it gets my room so warm so quickly. I could be wrong.
4. Buy it! It didn't break the bank and it lasts a long time. I only got a new one because I moved and forgot it in my storage unit. I had it for 3 winters and it was still working great!

At first, I thought I was going to have to return this product. I read the reviews and thought it would be perfect to heat up the living areas, since our other heaters will only heat up the bedrooms (we live in a single wide trailer). I turned it on.. it ran and it ran for about 4 hours and it was still cold. I was so disappointed. So I told my husband I would start the return the next day.
However, I continued to let it run through the night. When I woke up the next morning, the entire center section of our home was heated up (dining room, kitchen and living room)! We had it placed in the living room, so that area was SUPER hot and I had to turn it off. I was REALLY surprised at how well it ended up working!! I've loved it ever since! You've just gotta have some patience while the heat fills up the area. It works great and actually heats large areas, like it advertises! I'm so glad I purchased this heater!
My only recommendation for someone that's wanting it to heat multiple areas, try to find an empty receptacle in the middle of the two areas. It will NOT let you plug it into extension cords, for safety reasons. It even has a light that will come on when you try to plug it into an extension cord telling you to plug it into the wall! Nifty!!
