Bought this pan for smoking. Its not as thick as the other pans that are out there in the market, however they're going for $2/pan. Who needs such a expensive pan if its a one time use ( like bake sale or fundraiser). For me, I'm using for smoking, works well as the pan lasts up to 6 - 8hrs before the metal weakens. I would recommend switching a new pan after the 7 hour mark if you're doing long cooks such as briskets.

These 2 pound aluminum pans are exactly what I need to bake loaves of bread to share with friends and family. They are not as lightweight as the ones I have bought from time to time in the grocery store. They hold their shape even with heavy breads like banana bread. The price is lots cheaper than buying packs of 2 or 3 in the store.
