I use this for school and it is extremely easy useful. I can upload documents and when opened, I'm able to edit without being limited to what I can edit. Since downloading, I have not had any issues with the program at all. With a single document, I can either combine it with other ones, convert them to pictures, word docs, excel spreadsheets or even make them a powerpoint. If I choose to make this a protected document, I'm able to leave a watermark on this as well. With all the things I'm able to do with this program, I am completely amazed! The best feature, I can upload or scan files through this program. This cuts out so many steps and makes editing a lot faster.

I finally purchased this software and it is wonderful. I can now edit PDF's and do all my applications on-line. This saves so much time when writing new account applications. Send the whole file to a client by email and add an extra pdf file with only the pages that need to be signed.

The client reviews the whole PDF file and prints the signing pages. Upload the signed pages and email back to me. I drop the signed pages in and replace the unsigned pages in the whole application.

Submit to the backroom and I am paid in 3 days verses the old method of driving out in person, mailing and waiting for the application to be returned. The old process could take up to a month. Less follow-up time and everything is digital, no paper!

When Adobe changed its pricing model to a very expensive subscription, I began looking for adept alternatives. Recently I've chanced upon PDFElement 7 Pro. Of the various options on Mac (and I've tried and or used several, from PDF Expert to pdfPen Pro to various Cisderm products), this is the only one I've found to date that consistently, accurately and automatically rotates and deskews pages within documents during the OCR process. It also offers you a choice between converting your documents to true text or maintaining an image-based document with searchable (but not editable) text. And of course, you can add text, images, etc. and otherwise manage files in an effective and professional way. So far, the only chink in its armor that I've uncovered is a propensity to expand the "paper size" of certain documents. What starts out as 8-1/2 x 11 can appear to be much larger"”but this is readily mitigated by choosing to fit your printout to the appropriate paper size. PDFElement is a solid performer and an excellent alternative to a spendy subscription.

It works just as stated and easy to use.

It's probably not the best PDF annotation software out there, but it is a very stable and solid package in PDF annotation market.

The new annotation function is highly customizable and fast to mark. I'd say it is on par with similar app such as GoodNotes 5 but with better stability and less glitches. I use to mark notes on books with more than 300 pages without problems. I wish that they could allow users to modify stamps and seperate the thickness of drawing lines and arrows. But, it is not a deal breaker.

If you plan to use this as your daily driver for OCR, it might not be your perfect choice. I'm currently experiencing glitches and it automatically enlarge the layout of PDF files after OCR process. It is very annoying. What's more, the output of OCR files sometimes change the page size differently throughout the entire file. Some pages are noticably smaller than others. I found this glitch totally unacceptable.

The optimazing PDF is not functioning as the previous version. It reduces size to less percentage than Pro 6 as well. I found myself coming back to use the earlier version for these functions.

An interesting incident to share. The software developer has a very strong customer service division as they claimed. Having been a PDFelement Pro 6 user for almost two years, I upgraded to Pro 7. However, I was misled by the promotion on Pro 6 and purchased another Pro 6 with discounted price. I immediately contacted the customer service and file a dispute on PayPal where I made the transaction. The customer service agent promised to give me a free upgrade and also refund my money.

I would say PDFelement Pro 7 is becoming my main PDF annotation APP. I use it mainly by annotating PDF files. I found useful and reliable. But at the same time, I need to rely on other apps to help me deal with my other PDF needs. So, if you are looking for a reliable and customizable PDF annotation app on MacOS, look no further. However, if you want one app does everything PDF software, this software might not satify all your needs.
