The ceiling fan added a beachy feel to our family room. The blades have a beautiful look to them which accents our lake house. The LED light with three different settings is a game changer. The only con with this fan is it you have to either be tall enough or go get a ladder to change the direction of your air circulation. Would have preferred it as a feature on the remote.

Had this fan professionally installed. The installer said that this was the easiest fan he has had to install. He used a heavy duty ceiling fan brace with attached electric junction box since the box in place was plastic and not ideal for a fan support.
The fan is quiet with no vibration, the light is bright and has the various wavelength options. The dimmer on the remote works but is a little tricky - on/off and dim/bright all controlled with one push button. The fan is in a 12 by 17 foot room with a fireplace.
On low speed, and with little drift, the fan now pulls the heat down from the ceiling and makes the whole room pleasantly warm. The bottom of the light glob is about 12 inches from the ceiling and the blades are about 9 inches from the ceiling, i.e., blades are about 3 inches higher up.
