This was just delivered today. I spent about a half hour trying different ways of attaching it to my clipboard that I use to keep track of my deliveries, since I am a delivery driver. Each position that I tried was very snug. It comes with 2 extra straps, but the fit I had on an 8"x12" clipboard was a bit of a tight fit with the basic strap, but worked out fine. They attach using velcro straps.
I have had a lot of problems with losing pens in my car's under dash slot, so this should help prevent that problem. I tried the slots for pens using different diameter pens & pencils, and all were held snugly.
Overall this is a good product. It is sturdy, handy and attaches easily to the clipboard I have. The extra 2 straps will come in handy if I use a different size clipboard, but so far it is attached very well.
And good job, Amazon, on once again delivering the product in a timely manner.

I use this daily! It comes with different sized straps that hold it in place well. My current sketchbook is 8 x 8 inches and this stays in place, even when tossed into my bag. It holds all my essentials and i havent had any trouble with anything falling out. I can pull it out and not have to search for anything.

There's even a little space for sliding in a book mark or ruler. The material is sturdy and well-made. I like having my pens and pencils easily available when I am writing, and with this holder I save myself the trouble of looking for a pen when I need one! The case comes well-packaged, and it thoughtfully includes small cards if you would like to gift it to someone.

Definitely worth the purchase in that this media case will carry your basic need for writing utensils and even works as a place holder via its hook and loop straps. Extra straps came with, and allows fit and adjustment for a wider variety of sizes. Stitching, cloth, and durability seem on par for the cost, and makes it easier in multi use platforms.
