This stuff can be used on chrome, painted surfaces, and even the windshield. I've used it for many years. It was originally known as "Honda Polish" and used by riders of all brands of motorcycles. We used to have to go to the Honda dealership to buy it. Same stuff, different label, and marketed for all motorcycle brands.
