I bought 2 two-packs of these times for my outdoor Christmas display this year to replace older timers that I have had for over ten years. All four of these timers worked perfectly. I would set them to turn on at dusk and then remain on for six hours. The lights would turn off within 10-20 minutes of the six-hour duration that I wanted. I don't think that's too bad. This meant that some of my lighted zones where still on while others were off. Oh well. At least I didn't have to go outside each night and manually unplug them.

The biggest selling point for me was the triple outlet on these timers and the fact that they point downward. I didn't take the time to wrap my timers in plastic bags to make them waterproof, but was pleasantly surprised how well they worked when it did rain. The timers kept working and never short-circuited. I'm not implying that these are indeed waterproof, but mine did survive relatively hard rains and kept working just fine.

The dusk sensor works great

Just plug in your lights, set the duration and you're done. This timer worked flawlessly. Couldn't be happier with how easy it was to use and how well it worked in awful weather conditions.

This is heavy duty and perfect for all my outdoor holiday decorations! I use it for my holiday lights and inflatables. The plugs hold all the other plugs tightly so they won't come out.

These plugs work perfect for string lights. I have it set to dusk to dawn for string lights on both our porches. The light sensor works well with little issue and it makes it look as if someone is home with lights coming on and off every day even when we are gone. There are other settings and a remote but just the dusk to dawn setting makes this product worth it.
