It was better than I expected. I was really needing an overhead view & it doesnt show from the pictures that is can be directly overhead but once I put it together I noticed that it can. I am more than pleased with this product.
Edit: The only thing I don't like is that it is wobbly because of the piece that screws in the arm.

Really cool idea. Love that fact you can film straight over your surface. However this is so flimsy! Also doesn't move into as many angles/positions as a normal Tripod or as I would like. I WOULD purchase again however because of the perfect overhead position.
