Apparently, I did not read part of the product description correctly: "Includes compact wheels for easy storage and 4-gauge output cable with 12-foot reach"
I interpreted this to mean that the 4-gauge output cables were 12-feet long, which was a huge selling point for my applications. I found, however, that the output cables are 6-foot long, separated they can reach 12 feet apart, or including the 6 foot power cord in combination, from electrical outlet to the clamps on the output cables, totals 12 feet.
I haven't used it yet, but have had years of positive experience with the Schumacher brand.
