I plugged it in and set
It to soup. It starting building pressure and then displayed the time. The screen went blank. You have to sometimes make sure the plug has good contact by jiggling it slightly. Every safety plug I have has the same problem. Soup was delicious. This is the second pressure cooker I have had from Gowise. Live there products
I noticed that the seal ring has a tab and it fits into a notch in the lid. It won't seal right if you don't get it together right.
I'm not sure about the detached cord. I like the other better.
I'm still working on using it manually. As I don't agree with some of the presets

This is not an instant pot, it is a pressure cooker that you have to learn to use. It does have the safety features, that help. It is confusing following the instructions, all and all it's not bad. Would I buy it again no. but I will learn to use it.
