Great Bow For A Great Price.

I was hesitant purchasing a bow, especially a one piece recurve from Amazon, and for the price, but it has been a great experience so far. The bow seems very durable, as I've taken it through various terrain, the string stays on, it's accurate, and seems like it will hold up for years to come.
The only negative I would say it has is the nylon string. It's loud as far as many strings go (if that doesn't bother you then no problem), it's like most nylon strings, pretty stiff when first using it, and requires a break in period, and it will bruise your arm pretty quickly if it whacks you (always recommend you use a forearm guard of any kind when doing any kind of archery). You can always swap the string if you don't like it as I plan to this spring.

As a first time archer this took a little getting used to at 45 pounds. After a week of practice I can hit a plastic bottle fairly consistently without sights and average arrows (balance point is the middle of the arrow) at 10 meters. After reviewing YouTube videos on how to tweak a recurve bow and getting better arrows it's safe to say we can improve.
I've strapped a torch above the bow hand for spotlighting rabbits. No problems at 10 meters. Bit more practice, better arrows, and some string dampeners for the slight noise (I dont know what the scale of noise is compared to others) and a hunting a larger animal is possible.

Got this after a lot of research, and it's great. Beautifully made, and going strong after several hundred arrows.
Choose your draw weight carefully. I went too tough guy with a 45lb (thankfully didn't go 50). I'm 5'10 170 and relatively strong... still, it's a hard pull and I can't quite hold the bow steady without shaking a little. Wish I went with 40 or even 35lb for general target shooting.
My fault, not the manufacturer. Fit and finish is excellent. Great bow.
