Waterpil has THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE

I love the product. It works so well to get food particles that flossing can miss and I love the portability to take traveling and keep my counter less cluttered. I use it a couple times a day. I have a couple of root canals and "pockets" where food gets stuck and it's so frustrating. Trying to floss it's out sometimes leads to injury but the waterpik works instantly every time.

They have a 1 year warranty. My waterpik wouldn't turn on for some reason after 4 months. I got on their website via a link through my Amazon order info and chose the live chat option. Immediately, a rep responded and walked me through some trouble shooting steps. When those didn't work, she filed a warranty claim and they're sending me a new one! Took only a few minutes and minimal effort. They just asked a few questions on the product, did the trouble shooting and requested either a pdf of the order details or a screenshot. I sent it through the chat. Seriously, best customer service and it was so easy.
Not bad!

I've seen reviews where people have said the reservoir isn't very big. It's true but you have to find the balance between portability and function. So I fill it up 2-3x per cleaning. It doesn't bother me and I would rather not have a whole big unit sitting on my counter. As a light packer though, I would not be bringing this on vacation with me. I'm happy with using it at home! For the cost, it is a great intro to waterpik if you don't want to invest in a larger device right off the bat.
water pressure will give you a bath

water pressure on this guy, will get you a bath when using. be carfeful. otherwise this thing does the job it is supposed to. FYI: a good and pricey Cavagtron will give a person a good bath in use, too.
Proffesional cleaning everytime

I bought this water flosser in preparation for getting braces and I am sooo pleased with it! It's perfect for those days when I feel I need an extra cleaning. Now that I have braces, it works SO well to clean around my brackets. Don't be discouraged if you don't get the hang of the product during this first use, it takes a few tries to learn how to not splash water everywhere. I highly reccomend this product to anyone, with or without braces. It leaves my mouth feeling like I got a professional cleaning everytime
When I lost my crown, I knew it was time for this.

"Pop, clink." There was my (tooth) crown in the sink basin. Thank goodness we have a drain stopper.

The dentist had advised me not to use the U-shaped dental floss sticks because, unlike the string version, the only way to get it out from between the teeth is to pull up (or down) away from the gum line and against the crown, thereby tending to weaken it.

String floss, of course, can be pulled out horizontally. The trouble is, my hands are too large and my fingers too fat to do the job properly.

You need to want to floss in order to do it regularly and correctly, you know? That's why I was using the U-shaped things until "Pop, clink."

Time for a Waterpik, which was the other alternative that my dentist mentioned. He isn't thrilled because he thinks string flossing is best but if I can't/won't do that, this is the next best thing.

So I selected this model because 1) it is not large, 2) it is portable, and 3) it has no tubes or cords. After a couple of tries, I mastered the "slack jaw, loose lipped" technique of not spraying water all over the place. And I was doing a better job of flossing than ever, in less time, and in more comfort.

Long story short, I highly recommend this Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser. Had I been using something like it all these years, I wouldn't have crowns to worry about.
