This sling can be fitted to the patient without needing to get the material under the patient. Belt the upper section in place, carefully adjust the leg straps and it's ready to hook up. Very comfortable, the patient feels more secure than the larger cocoon type slings.

My father is 93 with Alzheimer's and I am 63. He began to fall and I was never able to get him up. But with this body lift swing and the body lift getting him up if he falls is a breeze. This is also great getting him out of bed and into the chair. It took me three times to use this correctly but once I figured how to attach this correctly to the body lift, life is so much easier.

Must be able to hold yourself up in order to use safely, also the safety instructions tell you to put arms inside the sling but if you do you start sliding down in it. Leaves bad red marks on my dads armpits so thankfully we rarely need to use this. Would not use this as only hoyer sling - we only use for toilet now
