I do not normally write a review, but after calling Amazon about the problem I was told others were having the same problem, that is "not able to insert the house number into the address." Why did I need the NAVRUF? I Drive a 2016 Corvette Stingray, and it already has On Star installed (at a fee $30/month). I would not want to be without it. I purchased the Corvette New, with the On Star installed. However, recently I try to start the car, and it would not start. I contacted On Star, and within minutes a technician was there to help. He believed the car needed a new battery. He installed a new battery. The car still would not start. So I had to have the car towed to the dealer. All of the above was covered financially by On Star. It was a Friday so the dealer was not able to work on the car until Monday. But, I needed a car. So I rented one. It did not have a GPS system, so I tried using internet Maps. I got lost. It was then that I realized I needed a portable GPS. I selected the NAVRUF primarily because of the 9 inch screen. At First I purchased the Chinese version. That was like someone else indicated, "JUNK". Then I noticed there was an American Version so I purchased that one, again because of the 9 inch screen. Then I ran into the Problem. "The new NAVRUF would not let me insert the house number for my destination." I fooled around for hours trying to install another map into the GPS, and could not. I was ready to send this one back to Amazon. Then I decided to try one more time to install the house number. I went to the website (it was a CVS), and typed in for the street NAME, exactly the way the STREET NAME appears on the Website. In this case it read "E Flamingo Rd" after doing that I was able to install the house number. Now I am living Happily ever After!

I used to use my cellphone with a mount for GPS and I hated it because the screen was just too small and awkward to use whilst trying to safely drive at the same time; and when I came across this GPS and installed it and started using it, I was mad I hadn't gotten it sooner! It has a big, bright screen with touch capability (very responsive touch screen); the GPS has many useful features like saving all your most frequent destinations; it is very easy to use (does have easy-to-read instructions); it was very easy to mount (just sticks to your windshield (very secure); the device is sturdy and of good quality; it comes with a cigarette lighter charger for the car or it has a cord for USB charging (it charges up quick and keeps a charge for a while if you don't want to keep it plugged in). If you need a GPS for, well, ANYTHING, especially a vehicle, look no further; this GPS is affordable, of high quality, and has many useful features. Try yours today!

This GPS unit is & was the best GPS that I ever owned, it had anything & everything. I fell in love with it until I found out the BAD & I mean extra BAD fault it had. In A right or left turn ahead the unit would tell you that you had A turn coming up in READING ONLY !!. When I drive I want to keep my eyes on the road, not trying to read what is on the gps screen This unit has A voice, SO!, right at the turn, the voice said turn. Well HELL!! I could not put up with that because I would have the turn past up 2 or 3 hundred feet. I was thinking they had to be A adjustment on the unit to have it saying the turns 3 to 5 hundred feet back but, no adjustment because I contacted the factory & AMAZON. Got NOTHING back from the factory. I can't believe the factory had this unit loaded this way. Had to send it back.
