Correct existing wires for these devices. IMPERATIVE THAT YOU DO

So far 4☆. Only reason it's a 4 is because in the directions it tells you this is a normal 3 way wiring set up. As an electrician I can tell you that is false. On rare occasions do I carry the neutral through on both sides. If there is multiple switches on the other side there may be a neutral in there and if there is you got to make sure it is on the same circuit otherwise it will not work. Anyway of course mine didn't have a neutral on both sides because I wired it that way because once again that's how probably 99 percent of electricians do it. So I had to switch up the wiring a little bit which wasnt that hard being I live in a ranch house and I know what I'm doing. Also if you live in an older house which I do you probably have all switch loops which means there is no neutral at the switch. The neutral is in the light itself and a wire carrying the power and the light leg (load) will be at the switch location. Therefore before you buy these switches take off the switch plates of your existing switches and see what you got inside. If there is no neutral (white) wire then you'll have some rewiring to do or you'll have to call an electrician to remediate your issue. Remember if you look in your box and only see 1 wire that has 1 black and 1 white wire that white wire is not a neutral. It is the hot leg. Hope this helps some people. If you have the correct wiring the installation is a breeze and if you don't your going to have a bad time.
One of a kind smart product

This is the only product of its type in the market, though it is not perfect but it works SmartLife platform configuration. There are no labels provided so you either have to remember what you are configuring each scene switch for or make up your own labels which I think won't look nice so I had to deduct one start for that.
This being a unique item on the marker for smart home enthusiasts, can control already configured smart switches, bulbs, sockets from this one switch using the smartlife app. You can create multiple scenes involving multiple sockets, bulbs with one scene controller for example switch off all the "smart" lights in the basement with one scene controller.
Very excited about configuring more scene using that but that takes time to build and some imagination. Overall, promising product.
Must Have Compatabile TGWF3K Add-on Switch To Use as 3/4-way
LB✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 10, 2023
These switches are quite easy to install as a 3/4-way IF...
-you have the compatible TGWF3K Add-on switch (otherwise it will not work as a dimmer)
-you have, as previous reviewers have pointed out, a neutral wire on the circuit in each gang box.
-you route the load line back to the TGWF500D switch as the load comes off this switch, not the add-on side as a typical dimmer circuit does. Note: you should have a 3 wire connection between your existing switches so simply use the red line in that wire to route load back to the 500D main dimmer.

It is disappointing that Amazon/TopGreener does not explain the need for the TGWF3K Add-on switch in any of of documentation here. Also, Amazon is out of supply and has been for a LONG time of these add-on switches. You will probably have to purchase the add-on from TopGreener directly as I did.

Also do like that this doesn't turn into a night light due to the LED that some smart dimmers have on them. One I bought from GoSund is so bright we have a perpetual night light in the bathroom. Would drive us nuts if that was in a bedroom!
UPDATED (again) worked around issue
Wes✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 16, 2023
I bought quite a few of these as my experience with the first 2 was great. However, the next pair I noticed a weird issue. I have certain circuits in my house that wifi will not work on. It's bizarre. Literally one switch over in the same box and it'll work fine. I'm guessing there's some noise or something, but there's no consistent pattern. It's not like all my exterior lights don't work. Some do, some don't. Interior as well. It's a frustrating issue, as I want uniform switches and I'm pretty well invested into these, as when they do work, they've exceeded expectations. I can't even fully blame the switches, as clearly there's something going on with my circuits as well.. but I don't know what else to blame. Will need to try another brand.

UPDATE - I can use a circuit that works to set it up, and then install it in a circuit that didn't work, and it'll work. It's a little extra effort but I just built a cable that I can hook up for easy setup, and then move them. Adjusted to 4 stars as these are pretty awesome now, just need to work around.
Good, but not quite perfect

I've been waiting to purchase this WiFi Scene Controller since they were announced at CES 2019. When I learned that they were available to order in January 2020, I quickly ordered two to complete my household smart-switch setup.

I have experience with older Lutron RadioRA switches and dimmers, and their 5-button scene controller. I was hoping for a similar experience. Overall, this 8-button scene controller is very geod, and is currently the only WiFi scene controller on the market so I'm glad it's available. However it falls short in a few areas:

(1) No included generic labels or mail-in button engraving option. You are left to solve the button labelling issue yourself, when a solution should have come from the manufacturer. P.S. I used Avery Surface Safe Durable ID Labels and cut to fit on each button.
(2) Inconsistent button operation. This scene controller has 7 scene buttons and 1 switch button. Unfortunately, they operate differently and it's an issue when instructing other household members how to use the scene controller, especially since all the buttons look identical. The scene buttons are pressed once to turn on and double-pressed to turn off, but the switch button is only pressed once to turn off. Double pressing will cycle it back on. It's very confusing for other household members and guests, and grows tiring to have to repeatedly explain. I hope a future firmware update can change the operation of the switch button to operate in a consistent manner as the scene buttons.
(3) A 5 button scene controller would be preferable. It would allow a single column of 5 buttons allowing for labelling with a larger, more readable font.

I would recommend this WiFi scene controller, mainly because it's the only device of it's kind on the market, however I would replace it when an improved model becomes available.
