I am highly impressed with this thermostat. Before this, I had a Google nest thermostat that would mess up a lot. This one is way more dependable. It's very good quality. Also, the temperature is accurate. I compared it to my thermometers and it is 100% accurate.

I have a hunting cabin that has a propane furnace. The old thermostat worked off of AAA batteries and the furnace would not work if they went bad. If the furnace don't work the pipes freeze and water goes everywhere. I am not there for long stretches of time, so this worried me. This thermostat works off of the 24 volt transformer in the furnace or battery back-up. As long as there is power the furnace will work. This is a nice simple thermostat that is easy to install. I like it and would buy it again.

This was exactly what we needed. We don't have central air, and all we had was one of those old round Honeywell thermostats. This was a great replacement. It's nice to have a digital readout that's backlit. And we have checked its accuracy with a separate thermometer. It came with good instructions and was easy to install.
We're going into our second winter with this device and we remain very satisfied.
It's a simple device not meant for environmental systems with AC or humidifiers.
