Before I say anything else, I must say one thing to be sure people see it, this thing is BRIGHT! do *not* underestimate how bright it is and always wear safety glasses! Even with wearing the glasses that came with it which were welding goggle dark in their own right, I still ended up seeing purple dots for a while after doing my legs. Treat it like an arc welder or your eyes are going to have a very bad time.

That being said, the product arrived promptly and appears to be of solid quality, they even loaded an additional 81 charges onto it above the 500,000 advertised. I can only assume that's for legal purposes or a side effect of factory testing. regardless of why they're there, though, it's nice to have them.

When the laser fires, you can feel it and feel it's working. I've only had it a couple days now and already noticed a couple stray hairs in a treated area that I tugged on came right out with no pain and little resistance. Despite my normally rugged skin, I did notice a bit of sensitivity on my arm when using the higher power setting, akin to being out in the sun too long, so it's a good idea to spot test and work your way up to an effective setting that's still comfortable, this thing's not a toy.

This brings me to the two reasons why my review isn't a five star. first, the power cord's a little short. I'm not surprised that this thing isn't battery powered, I could imagine it sucking a car battery dead, but the short cord means if you want to do your legs you either need to put your leg up on a stand like a ballerina or use an extension cord. Second, the glasses that ship with it are somewhat cheap. The lenses feel high enough quality and you can tell they're polarized, but edge coverage is lacking. This resulted in me nearly blinding myself when addressing a lone crazy hair on my shoulder and the laser peeked around the edge of the glasses. Thankfully my vision returned in that eye about ten minutes later and there doesn't appear to be any long term damage, but I say again, this thing's bright, ensure you have proper eye protection before using it. Don't say you weren't warned.

I haven't used it for that long, but I don't see why one would pay much more just for one. If you're willing to deal with it having to stay plugged in, then you're good. How successful it is, I can't answer that as of right now.

I just received this item on Friday. Thus far I am impressed! I've been going to a salon for laser hair removal, but with everything being closed down right now I wanted to give this a try so I can continue with my treatments. Directions are similar to the salon, shave before, etc. Using the laser feels similar to the one at the salon as well. We'll see if the results are as good! The only thing I am slightly concerned with is how hot the unit gets if I use it for a larger area. It hasn't been too big a deal though, I just take a break when it heats up and then get back to it once it cools off.

I got mine in about a week ago I have already used it 3 times now and we'll I don't know how long it takes to see a difference... But I use this for my chin hairs that woman should not have but unfortunately I have some and I hate it more then anything... It's so embarrassing 😫 so for me I really need this to work but haven't seen any change yet. For me it seems like it's growing faster I don't know why but I guess we will keep trying it out. If I do t see a change by the end of May the I will send this back. But all in all it's good for the price and it doesn't hurt in most areas of the body but it does hurt alot on your chin since that is a sentive area .

After using a while it gets really hot and almost smells like something is burning. Haven't used long enough to know if it works for my hair or not, but for this price, it's worth a shot. Also, the instructions say to go over the area 3 times per treatment. That means it takes much longer than I expected to do each area.
