The media could not be loaded. Hey guys so my old Ibanez preamp died and needed something new. For 20 bucks you won't find better. The tuner is accurate and even through my cheap $100 crate acoustic amp this thing sounds amazing. Buy it and you won't regret it. I just used a dreamer but a guarantee on your guitar a little hand saw and sandpaper and you'll be ok.

At this price obviously a Fishman "clone", but a well done clone for the price. Research some videos for installation as no instructions/template included. Tuner works well, all tone controls and mic blend control work well. Sound is clean and strong. Can't beat it for the price.

The install was easy. I had to enlarge the hole from the previous Fishman preamp, but it was easy. The tuner appears to work well, and it works with my small amp. I will try it tonight with my church setup (wireless hookup to sound system) and update this review if necessary. There is a slight problem with the flip-out battery changing, but I owe this to having to force a bend in the frame around the curve of the guitar. So far, the price is about 90% less than the Fishman replacement, and the Fishman would have to be modified, also... My guitar had a separate battery compartment, but I will just use it for pick storage or something...
Cheap way to fix a failed pickup

I have a nylon string guitar, not that expensive, whose Fishman amp went out because the pickup wire under the bridge failed. This one was fairly easy to install and the sound is acceptable. I can't offer a really in-depth analysis of the sound quality. It's good enough for me to play at home. The various adjustments are useful for changing the tone. The in-built microphone provides some welcome additional tone adjustments. Having a built-in tuner is very handy. I think its a great value!
