It saved me while I recently was in Europe. It is light, warm, folds into a tiny packet. I had borrowed a Friend's, but when I came home, I ordered one for myself. I only wish they did not put the logo behind the back right shoulder of the jacket.

Fit was perfect. Large was lovely - fitted with a shape at least, perfect length to mid thigh, sleeves a bit long but I'm normally petite sizes and they did not offer. I am 5'4 155 lbs. I can fit a sweater and a fleece vest under this without it being tight, and for our Maine weather, that's what I need! Hood is perfect, the front zips up over the neck and chin and the hood is nicely fitted around my face without being tight or blowing in the breeze either. As far as warmth, I'll update, but our Alaskan friends love it, so I'm sure it'll be fine! I have a packable waterproof raincoat to wear over it as needed. No biggie. The Omni interior is odd, I'll admit, and kind of sticky as you're pulling it on. Only bit of feedback there. Otherwise, a steal at this price.

The color description is silver. I had hoped it was light enough to pass for a "Winter White" or silver. But alas it's gray. Were it not for the color I'd keep it. I sized up but probably could have gone with the large.

This coat is surprisingly warm for how lightweight and compact it is. I did buy a size up for layering and comfort, so it's fairly boxy. However, I am much more interested in comfort and warmth, so this was a worthwhile purchase.
