Worked to stop the leak

Was a bit of a pain to remove the old seal and then had to figure out which side of the new seal was top/bottom. Watched a couple of video's to figure the process out.
Replacement for unavailable OEM part

This worked for my dishwasher application. I would strongly suggest to use a good silicone lubricant specific for plumbing applications with the proper temperature rating when installing this diverter washer. So far I've had zero leaks after a dozen or so wash cycles.
HAD TO RETURN IT

Never installed it because it clearly would not fit my dishwasher. Amazon was very accommodating in allowing me to return the washer. I rated the washer a "4-star" only because there's no "not applicable" star choice. But the washer was never used so it could be a much higher quality than 4-stars would suggest. Rely on other recommendations who have actually installed the washer in their machine.
UPDATE: I am embarrassed to say that I bought this washer/grommet making far too many assumptions, rather than diving in and confirming part numbers, etc, from KitchenAid and Whirlpool. My KA dishwasher model is KUDE70FVSS3. It is just over 10 years old, and the leakage from the bottom seemed to cry out for a washer/grommet replacement. BUT (as I learned from Henry The Appliance Dude, an Amazon seller) MY washer/grommet is a BOTTOM mount, seal. So instead of just replacing the seal from the top, I had to pull out the dishwasher, disconnect electricity, drainage and water hoses, flip it on its back, remove the electrical connectors from the diverter motor, unscrew the diverter motor from the plastic sump (only two screws), THEN replace the worn bottom mount seal with a new one I bought from Henry. You can see his various offerings on this site. I had to buy a new diverter from Henry because I discovered during my surgery that the printed control board (a little postage stamp sized thing) had been corroded by the moisture. It was very easy to replace all these parts (bottom mount seal; diverter with printed control board included) once I had familiarized myself with its underneath innards. Oh, I also replaced the little plastic connectors which go from the diverter to the red and blue wires that come from somewhere. They, too, were corroded by the moisture. Overall, the cost of parts was about $40. The labor was free (me!) and I saved about $800-$1,000 from the ridiculous quotes I got from three local appliance repair firms. Hint: If you have a Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool dishwasher, go to the official company web site for parts. Type in your model number. Find the part you think you need and copy down the price and the part number, then come back to Amazon or The Bay to see what their price is. I was shocked. For example, my diverter on Amazon was more than $50 cheaper than on the manufacturer's parts site. (No, the official "parts" are NOT manufactured by the same company as the dishwasher itself.) You'll find that parts for Kitchen Aid and Whirlpool also fit many other manufacturers' dishwashers. Good luck. And as Henry kept reminded me via email, "You can do it."
Will fit many dishwasher models.

Doesn't fit snug

You need to use Teflon tape around it for it to properly fit. Use gas line Teflon tape ase it is thicker and will not tear.
