I mounted it on a 7 foot ceiling. It is great for out of the way storage.

Well made, holes are too small for a few butt-ends, should have paid closer attention to actual dimensions, much smaller than expected from how it was depicted in pictures

These are quite nice. They feel like they will last for a very long time. The coating on them is good and protects your rods and walls.

The reason I did not give them five stars is because the openings could be a little bigger. The bases of some of my bigger rods did not fit. However, it did fit the majority of my standard size rods.

I also find that the openings are a little bit crammed, so it is like a puzzle to properly place all the rods and reels. However, after a few minutes, I was able to successfully stagger them all.

I would recommend putting your most frequently used rods last, as those would be the easiest ones to pull off.

The metal is very thick and the rubber protective coating is outstanding to protect high-dollar rods, use this to store rods in the travel trailer

I only own a few rods so the # was the perfect amount for me. It went up easy on my ceiling and holds great. The holes fit my deep sea rods perfectly and had no issues getting them in or out.

My only concern with them is that the spacing could be about 1/2 - 1inch wider each. My big reels with their handles are bumping into each other but it does not affect the stability or damage the rods in any way. I'd rather settle for a 4.5 but since I can't do half a star I'll go for 4 stars. (They were also slightly bowed but that did not affect alignment.

It met expectations and I do not have to worry about choosing a wood/particle board based product breaking on me due to these being PVC. Like other reviewers have said, Be mindful of the length of these before purchasing if you have large reels for deep sea or otherwise. I'd suggest mixing reel sizes to prevent bumping. Still recommend.
