I didn't think of tasting the pills made for dogs untilI started this review. Taste is bland and they have no scent. I used them for Bella our oldest bitch. They seemed to calm her down so we could cut her hair. I would buy again.

We had an unplanned remodel of our house, which was torn up for a couple of months. This threw our 13-year old chihuahua/pug mix off of his routine. We reached a point where we went weeks with him waking us up every night in the middle of the night to go out to pee. This disruption in sleep every night started causing us issues from not being rested.
We had given our dog melatonin in the past, but always had to put it in peanut butter or cheese to get him to take it, which would make him thirsty (which continued to add to him having to go out to pee more in the night).
These pills worked wonders in "rebooting" our dog's schedule. We give him a pill in the evening and he chews it up without getting thirsty afterwards. More importantly, he sleeps through the night every night now! He appears more well rested and his humans are too!
One positive side effect - we've had issues every year around July 4th or any holiday where fireworks are used. This year, we noticed he was far less bothered by fireworks, and after we gave him his pill, he would even fall asleep and not wake up from the sounds outside. We're hooked!

We have two standard and one mini Bernedoodle. They are very energetic dogs and still young, so they tend to want to be up EARLY in the morning or they wake up overnight. Most "calming" products have zero effect on our dogs, so I was skeptical (but hopeful!) when I bought these. Oh, my word!!!! These tablets are the greatest invention ever! Our dogs sleep peacefully throughout the night and don't wake until 7 am. So awesome. I will say, I increase the amount that is given on the label. For example, the two bigger dogs get three tablets (they are 85 and 65 lbs) and the little one who is 32 lbs gets 2 tablets. These tablets work like a dream (literally!) for our dogs.
