I bought this electric 3 Hole Punch in 2019 and it lasted a little over two years. Sometimes it would get stuck and I would have to clear it by using a paper clip to clear out the little circles of paper stuck in between the punching mechanism. One day the motor just started making this horrible whining sound, and it wouldn't punch holes. I thought I might need to change the batteries so I did and that didn't help. Then it just stopped working altogether. I paid about $20 so I'm not that mad about it. However, it did NOT get anywhere close to heavy use. I maybe used it every other month. So I doubt that I got anywhere near 5,000 pages. Maybe 1,000?

I love this electric 2 hole punch. I got way behind in filing and this hole punch is a godsend. I did line up the pull-out part with a prior 2 hole punched paper and applied white tape. This allowed me to easily align the papers for stress free filing.

This little guy worked well right out of the box. It's had 3 days of heavy use and it works flawlessly so far. I try to keep it down to 10 sheets at a time and it hasn't hung up once. The ONLY problem is the hole diameter is a bit small (thus the "tiny" problem).
Update: I've been using this guy heavily since February (June starts tomorrow) and it just keeps on punchin'. No hangups, no lockups, no problems of any sort. For a lightweight hole punch it's a real work horse.
