It's great for my desk at work. The gourd doesn't wick water like a natural good so no mess, and the interior is easy to clean. It's also got a great foot that's more stable than a natural gourd. The flavor is lacking compared to natural. Also, the first couple folks treated tinny but that could be remedied by cleaning with hot water a few times.
Both bombillas are cheap but work. The exterior of the gourd looks very plastic. Overall I'm pleased for the price. It's not a high quality set, but really great for something you don't want to worry about losing or breaking. It's not pretty but it's practical.
Bonus mention: the brush is great. It's not dollar store bristles with no stiffness.
