These battery-operated salt and pepper grinders are so much easier to use than manual grinders, especially for my arthritis-weakened hands. I ordered a second set to replace other manual grinders in my spice cabinet. One drawback: One of the electric grinders was accidentally tipped over, and the grinder started running! But that had nothing to do with the quality of the grinder, nor its ease of use. I recommend the salt and pepper grinders based on the short time I have had them in my kitchen.

These are my first electric salt and pepper grinders so I didn't have a high bar set for expectations. They work fine, look pretty when I use them, I like the blue lights. The only thing I would suggest for a slight improvement is that if the grinder blades could be adjusted down just a bit more, a finer output would be desirable. I've turned them as far as they will go. Still better than cranking by hand which was way too much work and messy. Do be prepared to have 6 AAA batteries on hand.

Due to arthritis I could no longer use my grinder salt and pepper shakers. I was delighted to find these automatic shakers, though I wondered whether they would be uncontrollable and put too much seasoning on the food. Well I ordered them anyway. I am so glad to tell you they grind the sat and pepper at about the same rate as you would by hand. Occasionally they stick, mostly the salt, but I find if you just shake it a little it works fine. Both my husband and I are thrilled with them. I am considering buying more to grind my spices. Love "˜em!

I really like to grind the Himalayan pink salt and my white pepper powder in these grinders. At the best squeeze, when I grind the salt, the salt is finer than the granulated. Great, powdery-actually salt powder. I have never seen such a fineness of salt grinding before, and I never thought I would like it as much as I do. This makes it easier to pinch the salt, because because it is in powder form, you can actually better control the amount of salt actually used.

My husband bought these for our dining room table. He wanted something easy to use, attractive, and would work. In the past we have had S&P shakers that lasted only a little while, got clogged, and were difficult to load, but these are perfect, easy to load, and easy to adjust for the desired grind. These would be plus in the kitchen as well. They are well made and not a light weight product. Great seller too.
