These are the best kitchen scissors ever! They popped up on a sale on Amazon, so I grabbed a pair. I truly wish that I had ordered a few of these for my family members! Unfortunately, they are back up to regular price. Although, they are actually worth it! I've cut all kinds of things in the kitchen with these and they are awesome! I will break down and order more to have another pair in my kitchen and give them to my family members!

I was looking for a multifunction pair of kitchen scissors when I found these. Little did i realize until I got them how many uses they really have. Besides being high quality, they feel great in your hand. They have a bottle opener, nut cracker, vegetable peeler, knife and probably more than I have found. Love how they easily come apart to clean, nothing more annoying than having food stuck in scissors that you can't clean. I also like the sturdy box that it comes in to store them when not in use, keeps them protected. Probably the last pair I will need to buy!

I'm drawn to multi-tools, even though many have let me down in quality and actual function. These shears are unexpectedly stout - the photo is of the Cestari shears on the left and my old Wusthofs on the right. They're comparable in heft to my pinking shears, with several more uses.
For the primary use as shears, they're great. Sharp and heavy duty. The paring and serrated knife edges are good, though not as comfortable in the hand as a dedicated knife. The peeler won't work as quickly or deftly as a dedicated peeler, but it gets the job done. I haven't used them to crack nuts or scale fish, but the tools provided look like they'd work just fine. The only tool I can't see myself using is the screwdriver. That has less to do with the strength or ability of the tool than my willingness to use any blade as a screwdriver. I can't bring myself to do it.
While the blades separate easily, they don't do it as readily as my other shears, and I consider this a major benefit. I dislike having to assemble my tools before using them. My husband particularly likes that they're not to be uniquely right handed. The grips are not angled and the holes are large enough that his "yeti paws" can use them left handed, so they've become a favorite tool for both of us.
In short, I love these. Nice job, folks!

So I haven't had these long but they have already paid for themselves. They cut everything and since the blades can but switched around they come apart easily to clean. They do not come apart when using them. I have used them for herbs, I have used them for paper and I have even used them to cut the roots from my 80+ year old shrubs that I just pulled out of my front lawn. Of course after using them outside I needed to was them and they come apart so you can get to all pieces. I think I will be getting another pair that maybe I will only use in the kitchen.
