I've tried about three different types of anti-shake/anti-walking pads for my 1st generation (12 years old) LG Tromm washer that walked/shook/moved about 1-2 feet depending on the load and normal vs. cotton setting. I did not have hope for these pads either, but for the extremely reasonable price, I thought I'd give it one last try before looking into a new washing machine. I was tired of seeing my 1st level flooring scuffed and torn up from the washer walking across the floor, plus it started slamming into the wall which damaged the paint too.
I still have my jaw partially dropped from the miracle of these pads. After I stared at my washer for a few moments after I ran a normal cycle with these SlipToGrip pads under the washer and the thing moved maybe an inch. THAT'S IT! I didn't walk over to the side wall or put another gash into my flooring from jumping off the pads (which always happened with every pair I've tried BUT THESE).
I'm in love and I want to shout it to the world how great these pads are! They truly grip the flooring (so make sure you really clean the floor before putting these on). I had a few tears the past weekend after running four loads of laundry and the unit STILL hasn't moved. This $10 product had saved me from prematurely replacing my washer due to sheer frustration. I cannot thank this company enough!

It did not matter if my washer (Frigidaire front open) was overloaded or unloaded it went off balance and would move and shake. With this product it does not move ! I love it!!

So here is the deal... My wife had been on me MULTIPLE times to get the washer (front loader) to stop walking and shaking. I was not able to get it to stop, since it was on a slanted concrete floor in the basement. Slanted to the drain. Anyhow, I did a lot of review reading on many products out there to see if there was something that would work and not be too expensive. There were some mechanical devices that were about $200 that promised to fix the issues. But I came across a Consumer Report review and basically they said nothing works. So I almost gave up. But as I continued to look I found this product. And I was sold on the metal piece and the girth of the pads they offered. For the price, I figure it was worth a shot. So happy I did. My wife told me the other day that she was concerned that something was wrong with the washer because we could not hear is shaking. So we went downstairs to check on the load she had in the washer. And came back up happy that the problem was solved. So in short ... these work.

To be totally honest I don't understand why they didn't work. I purchased the anti-vibration pads to protect my new LVP floor. Once I installed them on the washer and made sure the washer was level, I put them to the test. When the washer got to the Spin cycle it was like the washer lost it's mind. Horrible vibration, the washer was trying to leave the room. The leveling feet were metal, but after a service call discovered that they should have come with rubber cups that fit to the leveling feet of the washer. Totally took care of the issue. I'm not sure why this product didn't, but it didn't.
