I have tried four different glides and these are the only ones that fit on a square legged chair. All the others were too small or didn't stretch enough. With this brand and type, you have to stretch them to put them on but they really were easy to apply. They were big enough for my chair legs. Very happy!
Easy floor protectors, but measure!

These protect my floor from scratches. I like that they slide easily and the felt seems very sturdy. Very easy to put on and do not come off. Be sure to measure your chair legs; there's a variety of sizes. They fit very nicely on my everyday chairs but do not do as well on my dining room chair legs which are more curved/ slanted.

DO NOT USE WITH METAL CHAIR LEGS THAT DON'T HAVE A PLUG. But black plastic plugs for the chair feet, then put these on top. I installed these on metal chair legs that were uncapped - nothing but the raw metal tube on the bottom. And I thought "hmmm, I think the sharp ends might cut through the silicone. I should buy black plastic plugs to use under them." Then of course I didn't get it done.
Well, I was right. They lasted for about 4 months (and they really are great), but now due to my dumb decision not to follow through, I'm buying black plugs and rebuying these to use with them, since most of them are ruined. I noticed most of the bad reviews have metal legged chairs without caps, too. It's really not the product's fault. It is well made and strong, but you can't expect silicone to hold up to sharp metal edges for long, can you?

These come exactly as shown, and work well to protect my floor. They are a bit big for my chair legs. It would have been nice if they provided some way to glue or tape them on. Sliding is fine, but when I pick up the chairs, they fall off.
