This is decent flour for living a gluten-free lifestyle.

I am vegan and try to stay as gluten-free as possible, due to inflammation issues that flare up with me. I'm not perfect with it, but I try my best. I got this Big Green Organic Food - Organic Sorghum Flour to help with texture and flavor in my gluten-free baking, as some mixes aren't exactly the greatest tasting out there, nor do they have great textures sometimes.
This is definitely a product that is best used when mixed with other products, and I'm on the fence if I really want to continue using it. I think I prefer this over coconut flour (jury is still out on that). It doesn't seem to have a weird texture or aftertaste to it, so I'm reasonably happy with that part.
This is definitely something where YMMV, and varies from individual to individual. It's difficult trying to remain gluten-free without wanting to bake some goodies that are allowed from time to time, and it's especially hard sometimes trying to find something that works well for baking that still tastes good. The quality of the flour and everything else about it is decent, so I feel 4 stars is fair. Again - YMMV!

Good Replacement for Wheat Flour

t's unfortunate to be gluten-intolerant because it seems like everything that is gluten-free is so expensive, including this sorghum baking flour. As of this review this one pound bag costs $8.99, but it bakes up pretty nicely. I used it as a wheat flour replacement in some pancakes and they were good. The texture was soft enough, maybe a little bit grainy but not enough to turn me off of every using it again. i think it's a very good alternative to wheat flour.
