This antenna was easy to install. Compact size. I purchased this so that I could stream the 3 major networks ABC NBC CBS. It did connect to 4 channels but not the major networks as indicated in the website

Doesn't discover channels any better than cheap antennas, but does well at keeping channel signals stable due to the device's ability to be positioned anywhere where a signal is at its strongest, as attributed to its strong magnet.
Unfortunately, the included cord is not detachable; this in my opinion is a missed opportunity which could have been easily implemented.
Personally, I would have rather this product not include a cord and/or have been a few dollars more expensive if it were designed w/ the feature to attach to and de-attach a cord at will.

After canceling my cable TV service, I was at a loss because I did not have local channels for sports. I ordered this antenna to see if I could get air reception of HD channels. Full disclosure, I live in a suburb of a major city in the U.S., so I figured the odds of picking up channels with an antenna were high. The antenna was easy to assemble and install (5 minutes max), and then I scanned the airwaves with my TV settings. I had to move the antenna around and eventually settled on hanging it from a plant hook in the ceiling (Hi-Tech, I know). With this placement, I have been able to get solid reception for several channels in my area. I can watch live sports if the channel comes in clearly. I have noticed that rainy/cloudy weather does affect reception, but that seems normal. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and not having to pay high monthly fees for cable or streaming live TV.
