Fantastic. Recently started riding on cold sunny days - and needed something to sit under MTB shorts for some more warmth. Took a couple of minutes to get used to the feel of the padding - quite different that the short liners I have from the same brand - initially felt like my bike seat had tilted upward, but that sensation rapidly went away. And I wish these long pants had the little clips that the shorts do, clasping the lycra to the exterior shell --but not a big deal and they never rode up or down.
I ordered XL - despite my relatively diminutive stature - I'm about 5'9" - 33-ish inch waist. I guess I have a 30" inseam - so no NBA future for me, but XL fit perfectly despite reservations while ordering. I also ordered the ones with the gray/black pattern at the knees - it's MUCH brighter in real life than the photo, but not offensive or distracting. I ordered a second pair for laundry cycles and I'm really happy with them. The zipper at the ankles doesn't seem to irritate or affect skin and the length, once you sorta scoot your junk around to fit in there, was perfect for me.
My first big boy bike pants, so I don't have much to compare them with outside of shorts, but so far, so good and they;'ve opened up another season of riding for me.

I absolutely love these cycling tights. They fit absolutely perfect. Super Snug from the waist all the way down to the ankles yet VERY flexible. And very breathable. Yet keep you warm as well. Today was 50° and I rode 20 miles. The wind was 25 mph and these were as comfortable as could be. Just the slightest bit of air gets in but moisture and heat can escape so it's literally a perfect balance. It feels like I could wear these even in 40° temps. We will see. I'm going to order the fleece lined ones as well for when the temperatures drop below 30. Padding is excellent. Thicker than some of my other bike shorts. Very comfortable. I'm 5'10". 215 lbs and athletic build (38 waist) and the XL could not fit better. And these are stylish as well with reflective details on the legs. Love these!

First impressions was that the tights are well made, the stitching is excellent. Also the mater it's self is thicker , to me it means it wont fray. The padding is big, meaning there's a lot of it. Will see if this will be an issue, I've been riding with tights without padding. Overall on first impression yes I would order again. On sizing I ordered a large, it fit well, though i was concerned with crotch depth which seemed short. To add to the concern , there is no draw string.
Day of 40 mile ride: First thing when getting ready, I'm used to pockets in my tights, there aren't any. Not a big deal but a nice to have. First couple of miles the padding for me kept me adjusting in my seat to get them to seat right. More so on the return ride. This might be more on me since Ive been riding on little or no padding. The rest of the fit was perfect. It was a chilly day but i didn't feel cold.
Wish I didn't buy the expanse brand and gotten these instead.
